The 21209 is a 5/16" x 5/16" UNF stainless steel quick disconnect ball joint designed for mechanical control cable and linkage applications.

Both the housing and stud use a 5/16-24 UNF thread. The ball joint is manufactured from 300 Series Stainless Steel with a polished finish.

The quick-release housing slides back against an external spring to release the stud. This provides a convenient way to disconnect a control cable or linkage during servicing, adjustment or maintenance without completely removing the ball joint from the assembly.
