Heavy-Duty 40 Series Push Pull Control Cables

Industrial & Cable Group supplies premium 40 Series push pull control cables engineered for demanding industrial and mobile equipment applications where higher operating loads and greater durability are essential. Proudly assembled in Australia using premium stainless steel components, our 40 Series cables deliver smooth, reliable mechanical control in some of the toughest operating environments.

Also known as 40 Series style cables, Morse® 40 Series cables or Teleflex® replacement cables, these heavy-duty mechanical control cables utilise a 1/4" stainless steel rod, providing increased push and pull capacity compared with 30 Series cables while maintaining excellent flexibility and precise control.

Designed for high-performance mechanical actuation, 40 Series cables are ideal for throttle controls, transmission controls, PTO engagement, hydraulic valve operation, engine shut-off systems and numerous remote mechanical control applications where reliability is critical.

Whether you're replacing an obsolete Morse or Teleflex cable or designing a new control system, every cable is assembled to your exact specifications, including cable length, travel (stroke) and end fitting configuration.

Designed for Demanding Applications

40 Series push pull control cables are commonly selected where higher operating forces and longer service life are required.

Typical applications include:

  • Heavy-duty throttle controls
  • Transmission and gear selector controls
  • Hydraulic valve actuation
  • PTO engagement systems
  • Engine shut-off controls
  • Directional control systems
  • Remote mechanical actuators
  • Industrial machinery
  • Heavy mobile equipment

The larger rod diameter and robust construction make 40 Series cables an excellent choice for equipment operating under constant vibration, heavy loads and harsh environmental conditions.
